The Young Ones

Obviously the big news around here is the birth of M1803 and M1804, our almost two-week-old red wolf pups. But wolves aren't the only animals whose birthing habits take advantage of the good weather in the spring. Our staff and volunteers have spotted goslings, owlets, nesting osprey, and fox kits; one volunteer even rescued a baby squirrel! And all of this happened in the suburbs of New York City (or NYC itself, in the case of Raimondo the squirrel).

So what have you seen near where you live?
