Atka Gets Thrown to the Dogs

Atka and crew visited a special group of kids today who are making a difference in the lives of homeless animals! The SPCA of Westchester in Briarcliff Manor, NY offers children a chance to lend a helping hand to animals in need as a part of their “Camp Critter” program. The camp offers kids an opportunity to enhance the lives of the animals by creating enrichment projects, clicker training, preparing homemade treats and helping to fulfill the shelter's mission to place the pets in loving and permanent homes. Big thanks to the great SPCA staff and volunteers for inviting us to their neck of the woods and for hosting such dedicated young animal advocates. With kids like these, the future looks good!
If you're looking to open your home to a new four legged family member, please visit this wonderful haven, the animals are are hard to resist!  Here are a few of the dogs that WCC staff members met today.  Enjoy!
